I've got an old IBM ThinkPad 380D that is having a little trouble starting. Yes, the damn thing is probably worthless, but it'd be a nice computer to just put a file sharing device on that starts with an L and not have to worry about it messing up my computer. Of course I'll only use it to download freeware. Anyway, it keeps going to a greenish error screen that just says "ERROR" with 00161 and 00163. It has an O.K. button that only lets you set the date and a cancel button that does nothing. I keep reading that you just need to hold F1 during start up and enter BIOS but it won't do that. Any suggestions?
