Men should put the toilet seat down. There are many good reasons for this nice habit. After all,
men do not have to half undress to use the bathroom. They do not have sit and stand back up. Taking a few extra seconds to leave the toilet seat down is not that difficult a challenge for men.
One of the reasons that
men should put the toilet down is to keep
women in the
home from falling into the toilet. Women go to the restroom more times a day then men. Men might ask why a
woman would fall into the toilet. First, we usually leave the bathroom light off so that it does not wake you in the middle of the night. Aren't we nice? So, we stumble into the bathroom and go through the whole undressing bit. We just sit on the toilet without looking because we are half asleep and not really wanting to wake up more. Then there you have it! Men leave the seat up and we fall in.
When
women fall in the toilet, not only are we awake, we now need a shower before we can go back to bed. We left the light off to keep you asleep. If we fall in and scream,
men are sure to wake up. If we have to turn on the light to shower, not only will the light wake you up but the
running shower might too. It would be so much simpler if
men would just leave the toilet seat down after they have finished doing their business.
Another reason
men should put the toilet seat down is to protect pets. Pets are more likely to lean over the edge of the bare toilet and drink water or even drown then the toilet seat edge. Some
pets are nervous about toilet seats. If the toilet seat is up, the toilet bowl seems to call to
pets to drink and
play in them.
Why do
men even have to lift the toilet seat? Can't
men just lean a couple inches forward and miss the seat? If you are so good at aiming and you don't have to undress to use the bathroom, why not just aim for the center of the toilet? Then
men would never have to worry about remembering to put the toilet seat back down on the toilet for women.
