I swear, if I were a man, I'd never have a child. Seems like the dead beats get to run off and not pay a cent, while decent people sometimes get fucked over by child support expectations with a psycho ex-partner. I'm sure Cryer can spare the money, but...just makes me think of regular guys.

Haha seems so, I suppose it's in his best interest to keep the child living the same "lifestyle" with the mother as he has with him, but damn...

Women do seem to always get the benefit of the doubt.
There are definitely a lot of just plain horrible men out there, and women often get saddled with the kids without any way of taking care of them at an acceptable level. I'm glad there are laws that protect kids, but just like everything, the abuse of that system is just as horrible.

It's out dated though imo, times have changed, dads are much more interested and involved with their kids now but the laws haven't changed with the times (here anyway)

Yeah, um, no kid needs $8K a month for normal living expenses. I don't care what kind of lifestyle the person with all the money has, that is BS. Its just another way to wrap spousal support in there without calling it that.

I really hate lawyers and our fucked up laws.

If she claims she can't afford a house without the 8k and your kid is living in a homeless shelter on the weekends with Mr. Diddlehands huffing spray paint, then that's the amount you have to pay. I see so many guys go completely broke with child support, they don't care what lifestyle the father gives the kids, as long as he's paying.

More than even the amount (I can't fathom it but I'm not rich), is the fact she can still see that kid and seek money when she tried to murder him? WTF???
