I just saw my first political ad of the season.... :yuk

hehehehehehehehehehe....... She's not one of Us, she's one of Them... Courtesy of the GOP....

Ah, none of em are one of Us. Hello?????????

May the deceit begin........

Question: How many people will actually research these ads and realize they are being manipulated by both sold-out, corrupted parties?

*kicks dirt cuz I already know the answer*

We'll get the same bunch of crap once again and we have no one to blame but ourselves.........

On that note, I'm gonna get ready to go slave for the man......

One of us....... :24::24::24::24::24:

where is it......

We just had the party primaries. The republican governor candidates included

  • the incumbent who routinely tosses business contracts to family members and even tried to mandate a vaccine to prevent a sexually transmitted disease that would have made a friend a truckload of money.
  • a US senator named #2 in earmarks & wasteful pork-barrel spending, who simultaneously said we have to force Washington to respect States' Rights and we have to keep Roe v Wade because we can't trust the States to keep abortion law as restrictive as it is now.
  • A republican activist nurse who kept quoting the US Constitution and saying a good governor would stand up to Washington and make them follow it (the Constitution). She was torpedoed by Glenn Beck and demonized by the local media because someone in her staff might think the gov't had a hand in 9/11 and she didn't know it, and was too slow in ridiculing any such person.
The incumbent won the nomination.

If people did their own research (that takes major effort) instead of taking what any mainstream talking head says as fact, we'd all be better off.

I keep waiting for the whole of America to wake the heck up to what's really happening but I have come to the conclusion that that is an impossible task.

It is much easier to listen to a government-sponsored talking head and make decisions based on what said talking head is presenting as fact. Cuz afterall, they wouldn't lie would they????? They, like the government, have our best interests at heart.

Yep, once again, we'll get the best representatives that money can buy...... Whose $ is the question. But pay no attention to the cash flow.... It gives one a huge case of heartburn.

I'll be happy to vote for Bill White. The ads that ran in the Texas Republican primaries regarding the Governor race were disgusting.

well not me because i already know better. neither party serves us they serve the party and the party only, except during election years, so they can keep pushing the party line for another term.

i'm glad i dont watch the local channels, they're chock full of these ads.

I doubt it. I'll have to research him to be sure, though. The vaccine's not mandatory now, whether it was before or not.

You got that right! Freakin disgusting. They were borrowing mud from each other to sling.

No doubt about it. The most truthful ad was when they said that every four years we elect Rick Perry, then spend the next three wondering why.

I should run for Governor. :ninja:D

:D:nod:

You SO remind me of "Skink" a character in Carl Hiaasens books.... (Skink) was an ex governor, now living in the FLorida everglades, surviving on road kill...and "Keeping the bastards honest"

You and Moonie mumma should really have a looky at one...I think you would enjoy them.
