Obama admits "Surge" was successful--He and Biden Were Against It!

Obama was interviewed on Bill O'Reilly who unlike most of the media who "coddle" Democrats forced him to admit that the Surge was successful. Obama and Biden were both against it.

Folks--think about this--if these two had been in office--we would have cut and run and left Iraq in ruins whereas the further it goes on, the more and more succesful it become because of course it takes more than a year or two to accomplish something of that magnitude.

Do we REALLY want these two "cut and runners" in charge of the most powerful military in the world when there is so much at stake? These two were wrong--dead wrong and the Dems have been dead wrong all along when it comes to Iraq.

Give that some thought--do you trust McCain or Obama as Commander in Chief?

What exactly do you class as succesful and was this this same aim as declaring war on a county that posed no immediate threat to the US?

Well the basis of the war was not an immediate thread posed, but that's for another thread and that's been beat to death.

Bottom line is that in 10 or 15 years, the Iraq situation will be viewed as a turning point in the middle east. Hell you people in Europe should know this better than us. This terrorism bullshit--blowing up trains and buildings and killing people has been going on over their for decades--didn't really happen in the US until 2001. Something had to be done--something major--you have to beat a hornets nest and yes you will be stung at first, but eventually with the nest gone so will go the hornets. I realize the message you have been getting from the media is entirely negative and opposite but if you take the time to actually learn what's going on in Iraq (talk to someone like Donnie who's actually been there) you get a completely different viewpoint then what you hear from the media because they have an agenda--they want failure in Iraq--its that simple--they and the Democrats in this country have wanted failure from the beginning and have done just about everything they can do to make sure we failed. Sorry, but they are going to be sorely dissappointed.

And that has what to do with Iraq?

Yeah it was the first time the U.S. turned into a rogue nation. Oh yeah we managed to convince ourselves how honorable a war it was. And today the Middle East is a much friendlier place for U.S. interests. They love us over there. :smiley24:
