earlier this year i lost my dad to the bastard called cancer......he'd been ill for a while.......this is what he wrote in a christmas card to my mum

what can i say,what can i do?
to show the love i have for you
the care you've shown me in my hour of need
makes me humble - yes indeed.
may this small token of my affection,
keep me in the right direction
i'm showing you my love for you
will always be forever true.

I am sorry for your loss. Cancer is a disease that strikes without warning. It's never easy. (I have a friend battling lymphoma at the moment.)
It's good that he wrote some words like that, so ya'll have something tangible to hold on to, in addition to the memories of him. What made you think of that card today?

thanks for the kindness ladies but,my dad was in immense pain.........with it being over hes not in pain, hes in a better place......and thats what i'm holding on to
