Waking to find my coffeemaker has kicked the bucket was not the start to my day I wanted. Thank God I have an old stovetop purcolator for those times. Cowboy coffee anyone?

1000 tokens to anyone who knows the punchline to "Cowboy Coffee".

The closest place that sells coffee is probably 5 miles away. Closest Dunkin is probably 35 miles away.

Ugh, this happened to me a couple months back...brought a coffee maker and it died like 3 weeks later. Of course, I didn't save the receipt :ninja

This old purcolator is probably close to 50 years old and still makes good coffee. Belonged to my great-grandmother.

You know it is "Cowboy Coffee" when it will float a horseshoe. ;)
We always said " you could stand a spoon up in it " . Anywhoo... I have no idea what sort of punch line you are looking for. I'll stick to my Keurig thank you very much.

Everybody I know that has a Keurig loves it. I think I would find it too tedious. Then again, I have a coffee maker that grinds the beans and shoots it over into the filter for me, LOL

It's actually very slick. We have the one with the reservoir and it holds quite a bit so there really isn't any effort or wasted time. Besides that there aren't any grounds to clean up. You just huck the used k-cup in the trash. It's also very nice to have a bunch of different selections but the cost to keep a good supply can be a tad much. On the other hand we don't throw out as much anymore because we're making individual cups.
