I was just sent on this massive trip of nostalgia just now.
At 1:30 in the morning, I was really hungry, so I looked in my cupboard and found an unopened box of Corn Pops. I opened it, and was about to enjoy some when something caught my eye. What is this? FREE INSIDE! MINI GAME! I got so excited. But they didn't put it in the ceral like they used to. No, they were sanitary and put my free mini game in its own wrapping in the box. After opening the wrapping on my mini game, I discoved:
DISCO MANIA: Copy the instructor's moves to move through the levels!
There were also other games (that I would have to buy more cereal for) with such exciting descriptions as: "Eliminate the enemy spaceships before they reach you!" and "Capture the Robots before they escape!"
I had a moment of, "My mind is totally blown!" And then started thinking about the nineties. I was 7 at the beginning of the nineties, 17 when they ended. That's ten years of amazingness!
Think about it! Cabbage patch kids! Power rangers! Press on tattoos in your cereal! BOY BANDS!
I am so excited, and have no one else to gush to, since Matt is asleep. This cereal box totally just sent me careening through time. So amazing.
