Me and you are doing the same exact thing! I work 3 nights a week, 12 hr shifts. When I get off in the mornings, I only get MAYBE 3-4 hrs of sleep all chopped up and then go back to work again that night! Because my son wont let me sleep. I need to get him back in daycare. Tonight will be my 3rd in a row and I am so so tired.

yep, I will be working 3 in a row. fri, sat and sun... then I will be off for 2 days.. work 2, then off for 3. Basically, I am getting a 3 day weekend ever other weekend. It wont be so bad, I just hate that my sleep will be soooo screwed up.

That seriously blows. If you can manage some naps, at least you can hang out with your kids!

I always complain about being tired, but now I think I'll shut up! :p

Thats about all I get anymore! Its pretty pitiful how little sleep I get and its all because of working nights! It blows big time! I can sympathize with ya V!

This will be my schedule during the week...
get off at 7am, go home, get austin ready to work
7:45am take austin to school
go home get jacob ready for school
8:30 have jacob at school
go home and finally go to sleep.
12:00 pick up jacob from school
go home MAYBE sleep for another hour.
2:00 pick up austin from school
take austin to his appts following school release.

Then Im up for the day.
So if you counted, I would have a measly 3 hours sleep MAYBE 4 hours! a day.

Yep! Sounds like my days! I get maybe 3-4 hrs of sleep when I get off in the mornings and my sleep is all chopped up. Like I'll get 30 min here, an hour there, etc. It really takes a toll on you after a while. I get really cranky and irriateble
