I really enjoyed the first two spider-man movies, why cant they just remake the 3rd one lol

I like the spidey costume. looks modern.

It just won't be the same without Maguire. Kinda like Home Alone 3. I never bothered to see it without Culkin.

I don't like Maguire, but he wasn't a bad spiderman. But he hardly made the role his own I'd argue.

Sort of like the James Bond characters. People would complain about that too. Eventually, most people accepted the various actors and abilities to fulfill the role.

I still think Sean Connery rocked it for me....

I imagine it has nothing to do with the last spider man films. Much like the batman films, it's a complete revamp.

However, since Peter Parker was supposed to be a student, Maguire at 35 was pushing it even by Hollywood standards lol.

So you don't like the idea of a vulnerable super hero with everyday problems?

I thought the first two SM movies were just outstanding. The 3rd one sucked. They really went to far with mis-understood bad guys and yes, I'm talking about sand man. Toby Maguire was perfectly cast as SM. I'm not saying no one else can do it, but he set a high bar.

I didn't like Toby Maguire much, but that's not the character so much as it is just Toby Maguire in general. His face is too soft.
