Horror Junkies™ - Final Destination 5 Poster and Trailer Released

In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
I gotta say, the last one, in my opinion, was pretty lame compared to the first few, but after watching the trailer, it looks like FD5 has a lot of promise. Hopefully it won't let down as much as the last one did though.

I too was let down by the previous one. I liked the first three, I have them on DVD, but the fourth just lacked something.

Honestly, there's such a thing as overdoing it. But so long as people keep paying to see these films, they'll keep churning them out.

I agree. I have the third one, but sadly, not the first two, but I loved the first three. The fourth seemed to lack something, definitely. I also think that the 3D element hurt it a lot, but maybe that's just me. Plus, Final Destination has always had pretty decent special effects, but FD4, in my opinion, had the worst special effects out of all four movies.

I haven't even bothered watching the fourth one yet. I'll probably see if I can find it cheap around halloween like I did the Saw movies a few years back.

They all die, and if someone makes it to the closing credits you will find out in the next one that they died in between the 2 movies. I was a fan of the first 2, then I read what happened to the 2 survivors after the second film.

I mainly watch it just for the entertainment value, but as far as being good movies, there really is a limit you can do with this series. How many movies can you honestly make about a tragedy occuring, people surviving said tragedy, and then being picked off by Death? It gets pretty stale after a while.

I read the spoiler. There is a twist at the end of this movie, an honest to goodness twist you don't see coming. I might actually watch it now if I ever see it on HBO or something.

They've just gone way to far with this franchise now though. I didn't watch 3... but I regrettably sat through the 4th one, which quite frankly was awful :p I definetly will be giving the 5th one a miss.

This is online already....I might watch it in that case. Going to the cinema involves having to sit next to people.

Haha, try being a short arse like me and having some bloke who's 6ft 9 come and sit infront of you... wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't 300 other available seats for him to sit in :p

This film sucked. Well, the basis of the story was there to be made better, but it was too rushed (this film is 86 minutes long) and therefore the story just wasn't there. You knew the premise of it already which might have had a contributing factor. The twist at the end is fine but by then you would have stopped caring. Save your money, watch it online.
