New computer

We just got a new computer. It was the cheap thing at walmart, but it does ok. My laptop is having some charging issues and our other computer is in Diannes room (so we cant access it very well) so we bought one for our room.

(no laughing...its an e machine.. but it is fast and works well so far)

we are sending it back to toshiba so they can fix it. They already tried to fix it twice and did a shitty job both times.

Walmart is the best.........I know alot of people with E-machines and have heard alot of great things about them for what you pay

no but seriously now that gateway owns them and no longer compaq (who is owned by hp now) their quality has been increased ten fold and they are a great entry level to mid level style machine. Regarding the laptop have they described the problems to you. Is it a battery issue or your ac charger, or is it something else?

p.s. you know with best buy's service plan if it has to be fixed 3 times, on your 4th issue we replace it for free

My problem with the laptop is the actual piece on the inside that the plug goes into to. when I plug it in, it sometimes doesnt realize its in there and wont charge. I have to move around the plug for it to charge.

toshiba will replace the motherboard

actually they wont.. My warranty is up with them. Its been alittle over a year and a half since I bought it.

most manufacturer warranty's only last a year and only cover for manufacture defects unless you purchase an extended warranty through them or through their retailer.

might as well get an alienware laptop :booze

sure spend the extra 2 grand on a lap top that will last just as long as one without the "alienware" symbol.
