Hubby went to the track last weekend....by all means....no copy of Joe's vids....I wont let him have enough money to put into it to make it that sick....LoL!!! Anyway - I have a digital camera that will take short movie clips. I guess it puts it in a .mov format that is opened with quicktime. When I put it on my computer it plays perfectly. But then I uploaded it onto some webspace roadrunner gives me. It wont play anywhere. Its like the quicktime movie is not what it should play on...but I never told it to play with quicktime.

How do I either make it work, or convert it to another format to play in windows media player. I've got something at home that is suppossed to do it...but I cant figure it out. Any help V???

I believe .mov will only play in quicktime... i bet if you rightclick/save as the video works

PS: how do you access teh roadrunner webspace.. i have roadrunner, and i didn't know anything about that feature

hopefully your camera can save files in something other than .mov because those are a pain to convert to another format.

OUZ just go to http://help.rr.com/HMSLogic/main_contentwell.aspx and down in the bottom left corner there is FAQ. Scroll down to Personal Home Page Installation and that should get you there. I think you have to be at your home computer to be able to initially set it up.

I am not sure if I can change the format in my camera....I bet I can though. I've not yet really gotten into it. Its a Dimage Z1....VERY nice camera!! I'll bet theres a way to change it. Next time I'll get out my camcorder.....only a HI8 camera...not digital, so I'm not sure how to get it from the camera to computer. I just need to do a little investigating I guess. I would love to use my new DVD burner to burn all of my home movies.
