I'm debating between Gimp and Photoscape cuz I need a Photoshop program. Does anyone know what's the difference between the 2? I'm leaning toward Gimp but I'm not a photoshop expert by no means. I'm just starting out and I need something that I can edit power lines out of pictures and such.

Also I have windows 7 and would need a link for Gimp if thats what you think I should go for using? Does anyone use it and is it easy to figure out how to use? Like I said I am new to photo shopping. I used to have Corel Pro I think on my desktop but very rarely messed with it...

Any help in explaining what Gimp can do and if it's easy to use would be appreciated. Thanks!

It really depends on what you need. If you only have basic needs for photo's, such as basic editing, GIFing etc then go for Photoscape. it works fine. However if you need to do more complicated things then go for GIMP. It's much better in my opinion for the broader things concerning photo manipulation.
