But back to the thread. I saw a report on this earlier today. And my question is...what if I don't want the Moon slammed into by spacecraft? Who does the Moon "belong" to that NASA thinks it's within their right to experiment with the Moon like this? Do scientists around the world collaborate together and decide, "Hey, this would be cool, let's rev up some engine and smash it into the Moon!"?
