Friendster, the second ever social networking site (MyFamily.com was the first), is winning a patent on its technology - which has been pirated by many other companies, such as MySpace and BuzzNet.com. There is now talk that Friendster may go after the financial gain of those who stole their software. It will be interesting to see what happens. We may very well be back down to two or three social networking sites again soon.
