well my weekend pretty much sucked ass. i went to Virginia for a car show. i had a blast at the car show not to mention i got 2nd place in the Ford Ranger wild class. its what happened afterwards.
as i was leaving the show, one of my air bags (suspension piece that uses air to hold up the truck....you can deflate or inflate it with a switch. its kinda like hydraulics...sorta) blew...in other words it dont work anymore. it blew as i was leaving the show. i called some buddies of mine and they said they had a bag i can use. so i got my truck all torn apart at a gas station and waited. the air bag they brought wouldnt work with what i had. so i had to put the front suspension back together and i limped the truck to my friend Scott's house. he had one that worked. we put that bitch on and then i headed home. this was at about 1am. on my way home, i get stopped by the police for not having a license plate light. i gave the officer my license and registration and went back to his car. im frickin sweating bullets because there are alot of things on my truck i could get ticketed for. he comes back to my window, hands me my stuff and tells me hes letting me go and to be careful and to make sure i get it fixed ASAP. i thanked him and i left. i drove back to Indiana on sunday (11hr drive), tired as hell because of lack of sleep. im so glad that weekend was over and i was able to have an extra day off to recouperate because i sure did need it!!
