My screen is flickering

What is wrong with my computer, the screen is flickering now, and just sometimes
My compoter is 3 years old, and i never droped it or do others something bad to it, why ?
Does it gona to die?

I think your monitor is the problem. It's losing it's backlight.

You can get it repaired but I find that it's easier to buy a new one.

Yep, it is. First laptop I ever had I had that happen. Even after I got it fixed, it never was right again. Eventually the entire screen just went black. It's not that much more expensive to just buy a new one, anyway.

Last year my Monitor started flickering (it took a couple of minutes to turn on properly after I had started it up), so I rang the computer shop and had a word, they agreed that it was the monitor. I had a look around to see how much repair was but it turned out to be about the same price as a new monitor, and it wasn't guaranteed to last that much longer anyway.
