When my phone rings in the middle of the day and the caller ID says my mother I just tighten my seatbelt before I pick it up. There is never any telling why she is calling. Could be my third cousin's illegitimate nephew is in the hospital or someone who graduated high school 5 years before or after me was in a car accident. Could be she stepped on a snake. Could be most anything. Today she says there is a woman she volunteers with who has two pistols and she wants to sell them. My mother wants to know what they are worth but cannot give me a model number or anything. I am like well Mom not real sure what to tell you.
