So while my laptop is being repaired, I have to use my old desktop (which is now my mom's pc) so we had them move all the files onto it, so I could use them over the next few weeks to even months.

Well, it's filled this PC's C drive to capacity. So I am trying to burn DvD's with people pictures--which I have been meaning to do for a while anyways, to get rid of them, but it won't let me. The DvD's are a high quality, brand new, and rewritable. I am even using a program for burning discs. But every time is just says "An error has occured, unable to move file"

Why?

Can someone help me fix this, it's driving me insane. :mad:willy_nilly:

I don't think it's the program, I've tried doing it manually, and this program worked on my laptop. Pretty sure it's this retarded PC.

I've tried running defrag, but it says it won't run under 15% disk space left, it actually says there is 0%. I've tried going through photos and deleting unneeded ones, but there are thousands to go through, and it hardly seems to make a difference. I also removed all the files in the recycling bin and rebooted.

Still no go.

low disk space
low memmory
used up page file
unreadable files
bad disc
corrupted software
corrupted files or OS
software intefering with other software.
turn off as much resident programs as possible

The problem here clearly is disk storage issue. Disc Burning softwares also have need for temporary data storage and if you don't have any temporary storage to use then software errors or crashes. You will need to move some of your files try about 2 gigs to an external storage and give some free room on the C drive and try again.

I think you having problem with your p.c.. Firstly I would like to advice you to check the specification for the software is it compatible with you computer specs or not. Some times I face similar type of problem when I try to Install the Image editor for my CSS Templates. It does not work due my computer specs. To overcome this problem I changed up my p.c
