Are annoying the fuck outta me!!!

I mean im all for having a few drinks on the weekend, but im always aware that i have neighbours and whenever i have people here we always keep it to a dull roar.

These people its the fifth fucking time this week!! :mad

They are always drunk and singing and annoying the fuck outta me, hell i got two kids sleeping im trying to finish an assignment that is due on sunday and all i can hear is out of tune singing and drunken fucktards!!

I mean really i dont want to be the bitch who calls the cops, and i dont want to be the one who has to go over there and make it look like im a stuck in the mud cause i want a little peace and quiet....

I just dont know what the hell to do, Its 9.30 on a friday night and they are drunk enough to be passed out now and i still havent done my bloody assignment :mad

I'd just wait til quiet time and if they are noisy after talk to em or call the cops. If you guys have one. Our city has an 11 o'clock time to where levels should be lowered to where it won't disturb others.

I don't see any problems with you going over and just explaining the situation. If they don't understand you have kids then they are POS's.

I've called the cops twice the 4 years I've lived at my place. One for a fight out on the corner and another cuz of college kids partying playing their drums and guitars and crap at 2 am waking my kids up. Well I called the cops after they didn't answer the door. I told the dude a few days later it was me and we ended up having some drinks that night lol he felt bad for waking up my kids. We are still cool to this day with eachother.

Maybe you'll have good luck and they will understand like that...if not call the cops. Don't worry about being a stick in the mud, worry about your kids and you.

When I lived with a roommate, we had a downstairs apartment, and the neighbors above us always sounded like they were having ninja club tryouts or something. My roommate told the apartment managers, and the people got talked to, blah blah blah, didn't do any good. My roommate called the cops, and it did nothing, all that happened was they smeared peanut butter all over his windshield. So when they were bein' hella loud one night, I decided to handle it myself... I waited til they finally got quiet and went to sleep, then I layed my guitar cabinet down on it's back, facing the ceiling, on my bed, right under where their bedroom was... I plugged in, turned it up about 3/4 of the way to full volume, and played the entire catalog of songs my band at the time played... they didn't make any noise that night, but they came out around the time I was getting home from work the next day, and said "Hey! Was that you making all that noise last night??" so I responded, "Yeah it was me, why?" "It was really loud, and we were trying to sleep man." So I smiled a little bit and shrugged and said, "Sorry guys... when Satan tells me to play, I have to play... the voices won't let me sleep." I smiled and walked away, and never heard another peep...

Having bad neighbours is, I would imagine, hellish.

You have charm and personality though Keight, and I read somewhere that a huge percentage of these disputes can be solved just by sitting down with them for the ol' 'nice cupof tea' lol

Can you not try that.....and if it fails.......scald them with the tea

If you call, they won't say it's you. They'll take your info so they can get back to you if they need to, but they won't tell it was you. At least, in the States they won't.

In law school my upstairs neighbors were frat boys, so in the beginning of the semester I brought them cupcakes upon cupcakes and flirted my ass off.

Then come finals I became the roaring bitch that was going to take their life if they didn't shut the fuck up.

OF COURSE they understood that it was the pressure of finals....

I had the same problem with my next door neighbour a few years ago. Storming in their flat with a big fuck off hammer and threatening to smash their stereo if they didn't shut the fuck up did the trick.:thumbup

That's me, I'd be likely to storm into their house. It only happened once, about 3 am and I screamed my arse off at the people next door. I said damn and they asked me not to cuss in front of their children, I laughed and said you cuss AT your children at the top of your voice all the time, and much worse than me!

I fixed them....I bought the duplex when it was for sale. They still live their...but damn if they don't seem to have stopped making noise

They ended up leaving at 11pm to go out which was relief, but they got home at 4am and were as noisy as hell.

So at 4am in my pj pants and top, with my uggies on i trudged over there, hair a mess and knocked on the door.
when the guy answered the door he looked at me like Um wha?

I told him Im not the grumpy bitch next door neighbour but i have kids and uni and work and im a single mother blah blah need to have the weekdays to have some sort of order etc.... he seemed to understand apologised overly loud about it and his mate popped over his shoulder and asked me if i wanted to go out with him :eek

Fucking nerve :24: Even half asleep im apparently approachable for a date lol

I saw the neighbor the next day and he was sorry about it all i told him it was fine, cause pay back is a bitch he laughed so im guessing things are ok
