my mum's this morning

so i spent the morning at my mum's home today. we had a lovely visit, and lunch.

I was hoping to catch the humming birds but none came, but i did get a few baby squirrels and chipmunks.:thumbup...really cute and tame.

Aw! I love the picture of the chubby little dove! I had one nest in a flower basket that I had and while it made watering difficult, she (and finally her offspring) were lovely!

we have morning doves in our garden, they always seem to be in pairs, the kids always refer to them as Mr & Mrs morning Dove

its been a garden of love for...well 29 years now...its been in the last 10 that the ponds and middle rooms have been built... i'm not sure if shes ever won anything, but the city does tours and my mums garden is on the list. also, she has cancer patients come and they can sit and relax, as she herself is a recovering cancer patient. I usually go over every couple of weeks to help her out in the garden. we have a laugh.

i think it really does... gardening is some of the best therapy out there:thumbup:thumbup...and yes its the most beautiful garden i have seen in this town. My mum works hard in it every day, rain or shine. Shes a real English gardener.:nod:

Yo Dollface.... I really like the last shot of the Chipmunk a lot. :clap I wish we had chippers here but all we have is big squirrels.
