So, I'm looking through my network drive to start working on cleaning it up and making it more organized than the mess it's been the three years I've been here. I then came across a folder with a bunch of files... here's an example of what I found.

File A.xls
Backup of File A.xls
Backup of Backup of File A.xls

File B.xls
Backup of File B.xls
Backup of Backup of File B.xls

File C.xls
Backup of File C.xls
Backup of Backup of File C.xls

Literally... 100s of those. I asked my boss why they're there... and he told me that it was to make sure that we always had copies of those files.

So when the hard drive crashes instead of losing one file, he gets to lose that file and all the copies :) I guess he doesn't get the concept of redundancy?
