Pretty sure everyone has a vice. Once upon a time, mine was "sex, drugs and rock and roll".. not that that has changed all that much, but it's narrowed down a bit lol. Cigarettes were another.. for more years than I'll ever admit and quitting was the hardest thing I ever did. And amazingly, I found it easier than I thought it would be. Because I substituted it with another addiction to help me through LOL... these evil little butterscotch candies. I didn't crave once while I was surviving on those. I think they were about 4 billion calories a piece too, so I gained a bit of weight, but it was well worth it and easy to lose once I calmed down and could look at people without wanting to tear them apart with my bare hands lol.

The only vice I have now is coffee (some wouldn't call it a vice though). Although I can safely say I'm more addicted to the internet (for learning mainly) than any of my other vices, past or present. Couldn't live without it.. how awesome that pretty much all knowledge is at our fingertips. Though again, whether it's a vice or not is debatable.

Sooooo... what are your vices? What WERE your vices?

American Football! lol I think vices have the tendency to wear different masks. There are things people feel are acceptable to be a vice (i.e. workaholic) as opposed to others (i.e. alcoholic). Defining a vice is problematic unto itself. Immoral or wicked behaviour?!?! Really?!?! Does that not change with the decades?

Way to go on dropping the cigarettes!

I would say my vices are soda and sleep. I know your body requires sleep, but I always want more than what is needed. If I could, I would nap every day! Hah.

Cigarettes for me, although, I do have my smoking in check. I cut down when I felt like I was becoming a chain smoker, which was a little scary to me. Soon, I hope to cut down even more and hopefully be down to at least just one or two a day. If I can reduce it to that, I might consider quitting a lot later in life.
