ive heard several v8 trans ams with l/t headers, catless mid pipes, and various cat backs that sound insane.

I dunno about a install, but a cam itself for a LT1 will usually run you around $400. Unless you get a used one.... :tard I may be wrong, I haven't priced anything in awhile beings that I'm as broke as a big wheel with Rosie O'Donall sittin on it.

camshafts for stangs run in the 500-600 dollar range and installs can be pricey. you must remove the radiator fan to be able to pull the camshaft out and it is way over my head

My cam (single cam) was $379...it's one of the biggest ones available for stock heads/displacement. Some are cheaper. The valve train ran another $400 or so. I also did the intake, another $420. Then the dyno tune cost $600....

It was expensive. But the bump stick is worth it..
