My cat Cully is the sweetest cat ever...and is also DEATHLY afraid of balloons. I have this balloon from my birthday sitting in the living room and he will not go in there! He keeps running into the bedroom but when we try to kick him out he'll just roll over...stay...and hiss. And we'll repeat the process until we roll him out of the bedroom. Last night he was hiding in his litter crying...not just meowing but the kind of cry like you're taking him to the vet. It's so pathetic yet funny...haha I guess you would have to see it to understand.

Does anyone else have animals that do these kind of weird things?

That is hilarious! lol

My dog Cheyenne is so afraid of the vaccuum cleaner and carpet fresh. She is so weird. If she sees me getting out the vaccuum, she will find someone place to hide and will NOT come out unless you drag her out.

When I was a kid I had a dog who would bark everytime someone sneezed or the phone rang. He'd scratch at the floor and freak out.

My dog is afraid of cameras. The flash reminds of lightning (which he is also afraid of). On the cat side, Haliy is afraid of most men and tall people, Sneakers is afraid of everything, Bingo will very loudly meow to let you know if he is upset about anything (not paying attention to him, something is in his spot, he wants down from somewhere) and Kasey is not terrible fond of the vacuum cleaner.

I remember when I first adopted my rottweiler Molly she was 2 and when there where thunder and lightning storms she would be running under my bed. You have know idea what it is like to pull a rottweiler out from underneathe the bed!

we had a golden retriever named Katie that when it would thunder and lightning out, she would run upstairs and hide behind the toilet and shake for hours even after the storm had passed.

I have a dog Dutch, Who for a chow/shepard mix, is afraid of any fast movements

When we first got him he would not go into a room if the ceiling fan was on, and if you turned it on why he was in there, he would run out as low to the ground as he could, sit outside the door just shaking from fear... Of course he used to do the same thing if you moved over him with anything in your hand.

But all my animals are psychos
