my boss today decided to jump on her high and mighty horse today and basically yell at our entire production line at work today. heres why:
2nd shift usually makes about 50 parts or so for us to run on 1st shift and we make another 100+ (supposed to have 160 total done by end of 1st shift). the part of the line im on, i run a test machine before they go to the next operation. well i had no work in front of me because we got all of 2nd shifts done and most of ours done (this was about 2:30pm and our shift ends at 3:30pm) and waiting for parts. well i am helping one guy out at the operation before mine and my boss makes her announcement to us that we need to do more work and that 2nd does more than us...blah blah blah. well everyone on the line was on a steady pace and then she tells us this shit and makes us feel like shit so we decide to kick it into high gear and get a few parts more than normal done. so now no one is looking forward to working tomorrow (friday) because she decided all of a sudden to jump our shit for no reason. i hate it when she does that but what the hell do i do? ropll up my sleevs, put some fast heavy metal on and work like a mofo to please her. somedays i hate working there...
