Was talking about rearranging my room earlier, and can't see how. Any ideas?

One shot from each corner of the room. We have really bad lighting in the room- the light switch is behind the door, which is just awkward and there's nothing overhead, so we make do with two side lights. Any ideas on how to get better lighting, too?

Maybe swap the dresser and the desk around, I find mirrors dont give a very clear or good reflection when the're facing the window.:thumbup

I have a full length on the door. I mostly have it set up that way to get more light in the room. Unless I can find a way to set up lighting where it is now....

Honestly I would get the desk out of the bedroom.

But honestly, theres not much rearranging possibilities in there without changing what is in the room to begin with.

Matt moved the desk in because that's our only TV and when I was watching movies, he wanted to do his D&D stuff and be in the same room as me. I hate that it's in there, to be honest!!! I have no where else to put it now, though. We got a bigger desk for the dining room/storage area. We just have WAY too much stuff, and no storage space to put it.

I've thought about putting the bed where the short dresser is now, but I'm not sure I want to walk into the room and BAM there's a bed. And it would leave all the empty floor space hidden. At one point, we had the head board up against the window, but he didn't like that very much.

I keep trying to get him to go through his clothes so I have don't have those plastic drawers (yep, his overflow clothes!) and can move them and the clothes he doesn't wear as often out of there. I feel really bad asking that since I'm the only one using that closet, and everything from the middle of the doors all the way left is mostly shoes! I have suitcases and crafting stuff tucked behind the clothes though. It goes back maybe four feet on the right side. Which is stupid, IMO.

I would have more space, I think, if I swapped my living room and dining room furniture... God what a pain, though. But then I could move that other desk out here.... I have to think if that's even possible, though...

I did some measurements and found a thing where I can do everything to scale online. I came home Sunday and Matt had taken the desk out! YAY! So I have some freedom now.

This is what I currently have:

This is one of my thoughts:

I'm going to play around and find more options- I really want to do this today. And then I'm going to look at flipping the living room and dining room. The goal is to have it all done before Matt gets home, so I have about 8 hours to completely redo my apartment! EEK!

Same corner series as the first set, and now that I'm looking at the old, I really don't like what I did. :( But Matt took the desk and tv and it just looked like we were moving or something after that, and it was awful. So...

Oh, and it's still a mess. I've only rearranged, not made up the bed or anything.

I don't like how the bed and nightstand are so squished together, so I think I may push the bed to the corner and then put the nightstand sideways on the other side of the bed. I'd still be able to use the drawers, but it won't take up so much space.

Not if I ever want to close it. :(

I think that's why I want to push it to the wall. People commonly put beds in corners, right?

cram everything in the closet, take down the posters, add mirrors

mirrors give the illusion of having a bigger room
