Mustang of death

street racing is so fucking idiotic IMO. what the hell do you have to prove to people on the streets? take the shit to the track to "settle a score" or be the bigger man and dont react. it is pride and ego making people be so dangerous, and not to profile, but it is almost always a younger guy (18-24) racing. i know that every guy thinks he is the shit and has something to prove at this age (especially to impress the ladies) but this is the exact reason people shouldnt street race- it is deadly!

(same post as over there, but i feel as though people need to calm down and think before street racing. it is extremely selfish to race with innocent people unprotected from your path of fury. too many people die this way, and ill be damned if some fucker wrecks into me when i am the innocent bystander. these adrinaline junkie assholes need to reflect on and rationally think about the destructive deciosions they make on a daily basis)

i will take my car to redline to 3rd but stop at 70. i like the sound/feeling but i only do that on rural roads when nobody is around

Same here, I have not raced on the street, but I reached 80 on a deserted backroad. Crashing is bad but even if you don't crash if you are caught in Chicago they usually try to take your car. I don't know if anyone has read about it earlier this year but in Chicago there was a scam that if your car was impounded it could be sold in the next few days for chump change ($300-$5000) to owners of the place that it was impounded to. There were Hummers, Escalades, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc that the impound owners kept for themselves or either sold to used car lots!

it could have been just about any make car, :gears this time it was a stang next time a firebird you never know :dunno , just be glad it wasn't someone you know. :nuts

It could of been someone we know. It was here in Atlanta. They could of been on one of the fourms. It was someone racing and they killed someone else. I would have a hard time dealing with that if it was me. I don't care if it was a Mustang or a yogo, the driver killed someone.

Last weekend I guy I know from around here got rearended while he was riding his Kawasaki 636 in Oklahoma. The guy that hit him was street racing, drunk, no insurance, and fled the scene. They left him in the ditch next to a balled up bike. It split into and rolled end over end. The cops did catch the guy, but now he is saying that his girlfriend was driving...

I can't say that I have never street raced. I used to all the time when I was in high school on a 4 lane highway. I'll play around in my car now and then, but thats about it.
