Yes, she still comes for a snack, but her babies have "left the nest"

I had another "ring in" this morning...and he took food from my hand straight away.:D:D

(excuse my ugly dial...I am having a housework day and refuse to "freshen up" just for a happy snap)

Why yes it is. Kookas and magpies eat meat. The Kookaburra family we used to feed at the resort I used to work at would get raw mince.

The mumma would "kill it" by smashing it against the rail, then feed it to her bubba's.:D

I wish it were my yard.:( mine ends at the wire fence.....thats the reserve I back on to.

The one a dickhead developer wants to turn into 300 new homes.:thumbdown

Hopefully not. The local council has taken the developer to court. They by passed a lot of local rules and so even the council is with us. (the residents)

They (the council) originally knocked it back, so the developer went over their heads to the State Government, who then approved it sight unseen, and without looking into it properly.:thumbdown:mad

Yes. I am quietly confident though.

The highway upgrade will help to knock it on the head....not enough infrastructure to support that many more residents.
