regardless of which side the usb port is, the wire on a mouse can lead around the back of a laptop. It's how I did it, its how many college kids do it. you can do it too.

Wireless mouses are the way to go, IMO. I have a super cute pink Microsoft one. I think a pink mouse would be just PRECIOUS for you, Dana.

I hate wireless mice. Apple's Magic Mouse is an awesome device to use, but I hate having to buy batteries all the time. It's unnecessary when there is a perfectly good alternative.

Just get a USB extension cable if it doesn't reach, Dana.

I got my retractable to work fine for now. I will NOT be purchasing a pink mouse . Not that I hjave anything against the color. I've been seen wearing it. Buit pink mice might be a tad much.

Strange thing is, I'm left-handed but use the mouse with my right hand with ease.
