I never walk out of movies. I'm a firm believer in sitting through it, no matter how much it sucks, because you never know - it might get better right after you left, or the ending might suddenly, miraculously transform the utter awfulness of what you've seen so far into a glowing piece of art. Or, at least, make it make sense. Of course, I try to stay away from bad movies in the first place, which helps.

However, this is the time to come clear and admit that even my foolishly optimistic determination to sit it out has been defeated a couple of times. Actually, four times:

- Barb Wire - The Ghost and the Darkness Those two were sneak previews, so don't hold them against me. I feel the need to point out, though, that, of the two, Barb Wire was by far the superior work. And that's saying something.

- The Crossing Guard
So bad.

- Bound
That blood looked real pretty on the white paint. That's about the only good thing one can say about this movie.

So, which movies have defeated you?

Like you I have sat through some horrid movies, in the hopes that they might get better, Just keep thinking they have to.

The one movie I did walk out on,

Final Cut There was just no way I could continue to sit through the senseless droning I just went to bed, Sleep I decided would be much more entertaining.

I can't think of any movie that I have ever walked out on. I have to stay until the end. Sometimes I want thae movie to get better but sometimes I don't.

I'm a big fan of those crappy SciFi & Horror films that that they churned out during the 50's, 60's & 70's. Sometimes bad is just bad but sometimes bad is really good.

I've walked out of a few movies before, but all of them have been here on base where the tickets are only $3.00. The last one I walked out of was Domino. That was the dumbest movies I have ever seen. If they would have edited out all the swearing there would have been no dialogue at all. I think movies that rely too heavily on vulgarity are stupid.

Though I do appreciate the occasional boobar shots!! :D
