I don't know if they're remaking it or not. Movies like Disturbia were very obviously Hitchcock influenced (Rear Window, anybody?), even though it was slightly different.

But no, this is the (I might have the year wrong), 1958 version. No worries. You think I'd let us discuss shit? What do you take me for!

i apologize....lol. I hope you wouldnt let us do that. I officially back down from picking movies though becuase i always pick retarted movies. soooo dont ask me ever.lol

lol Well I could pick movies every month but you guys could give me some guidelines of what to pick. For example, maybe some month you'd say:

No non-english (although that's an injustice lol) movies. Must be horror. And I could pick. Doesn't matter to me... hell, that way I'd know I'd get to watch a movie I want to see! Haha


Anyways, I'm hoping to jump start the Vertigo conversation on probably tomorrow or Saturday. I'd just like to warn people that haven't seen it that maybe coming into this thread isn't such a good idea from then on.

Why no non English films? There's some good and very thought provoking ones out there, the motorcycle diaries is one of my all time favorite films.

I was just giving examples of what people could say. I hope they don't say they won't watch non-English films. I'm a big movie buff so no language or genre is out of bounds for me.

My favourite movie is also non-English. Stalker is Russian. I watch tons of non-English and English flicks.
