It's annoying! I've eating less well than normal as well. And not exercising. I'm in good shape not over the top shape. Do you believe vitamin tablets work? Because I read that your body will work heard to get what it needs from your food and vit tablets don't really make much difference. .

Yeah but for me the issue is mainly with the temperature, not so much the darkness as I usually work out early.
I find the cold really gets to my joints.
I used to do tae kwon-do and I received an axe kick in my collar bone and the cold really get to that joint now. Hurts like hell until I warm up.
I guess I should wrap my joints up maybe

Vitamins are fine. I would suggest them. This day and age, we don't use proper crop rotation. So a lot of our vegetables are missing a large amount of their nutritional value. Then we get them and cook them. Which eliminates even more of their nutrients. I would have to say taking a good multi-vitamin is a best practice these days because we can not rely on our whole foods to provide enough nutrient. For joints, I would take some fish oil or something that provides omega 3 fatty acid. Flax seed will do that too and you can toss that in your oats in the morning.

I do exercise in the morning. When I get out of bed, I do some stretching exercise while watching news on TV. After breakfast, I take a morning walk. It has become a routine for me and I feel good doing exercise.

There are several reasons why people may feel less motivated to exercise during the darker months. One reason is that the lack of sunlight can affect our circadian rhythm, which is our body's internal clock that regulates our sleep-wake cycle. This can lead to feelings of fatigue and lethargy, making it harder to get motivated to exercise.

Additionally, the colder weather and shorter days may make it less appealing to exercise outdoors, which can be a major obstacle for those who enjoy outdoor activities like running or cycling.

This happens during winters because during winters we have longer nights and shorter days so there are times when I am not motivated to exercise or workout but in summers we have longer days so we can use summers to exercise and winters to relax for the couple of months

I don't feel motivated to exercise these days. Perhaps because there is a lot going on. My 15-year-old pet died just a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to find the motivation to workout again in the future.
