Friends !! this topic is dedicated to our MOTHER whom we love , respect and admire .... She makes us feel special , she is their with us always , she pampers us , she is strict at times .....

There are so many things about our beloved mother that its not possible to canvas everything here .................. We had a healthy debate about our beliefs whether GOD exits or not ... but aren't we blessed with this ANGEL called MOTHER ????

I personally feel that whatever today I am is because of her ....

Okay, I appreciate all of the mothers who actually acted as mothers and nurtured and loved their children.

I doubt my mother would really deserve that kind of appreciation.

My mom is a great woman. She was prone to playing practical jokes on her children and husband, and she was a wonderful mother. She used to call her kids "sets", because she had them in sets of two with almost ten years in between. She nurtured us emotionally, physically and spiritually, and rarely ever lost her temper.

My mom takes care of my sister's three kids. This means she doesnt have any time for mine. Nuff said.

On another note.....I am the world's greatest mommy in the making

I admire my mom for making sacrifices and becoming a stay at home mom. She was always there for me growing up and that did not change once I became an adult. I admire my dad for his hard work and for giving me everything he possibly could. He has guided me in every way throughout my life. My parents make sacrifices for me on a daily basis and I know that will never change. I just hope some day I am able to repay them a portion of what they have done for me.

Thats beautiful yes... And I was blessed to have a wonderful mother.. But as I Think Le has tried to point out..NOT ALL Mothers are wonderful or even good.. more and more children are being raised by fathers because their mothers dont want them, and even more are being raised by grandparents or other family members because their Mothers are to bust being cracked out on meth or going to the bar.

Sorry, I am just ,making a point.. it is not fair to expect That everyone should feel good about their mother.. this thought or feeling can not apply to all, and to assume so is faulty.

It's just a downer for me to point it out. A lot of people have great mothers, and this is a thread for those great mothers.

Yeah.. But, and this is just my opinion.. It is wonderful what he said about mothers but his statements should have been personnel rather then steriotypical.

and it was the grouping that brought out your answer.. One I am sure you probably would have left out had it been written as I rather then WE ... the We makes your reply as much to do with this thread as his original post...

many of us know how you feel Le, and we know why, No one here faults you for saying your opinion on the matter.

And hell Le.. Thats part of why we love you.. you say what you think.. wouldnt expect anything less.

I love my mom. When it comes down to it she is the one that I look up to and hope to turn out like. I can't imagine my life without her and it's scary to even think what it would be like.

Sam, I dont think the Thread needs to be deleted.. Many of us are lucky to have been Blessed with wonderful loving mothers, And as I told you.. I think it is a beautiful thread, and beautiful words and thoughts behind it.

We just can not assume that everyone will agree with one's thoughts on every subject.

And I am sure everyone here.. Including Le, knows that there was no harm intended. ..

Please change your mind and leave the thread. Mothers are wonderful, sadly like all things in life there are exceptions to the rule.
