NJ has their own Mother of the Year candidate. A woman locked her 5 month old baby in her car while she went into Babies R Us to shoplift several items. A woman who'd seen the baby, left the shopping center, but came back 45 minutes later, and, still seeing the baby in the car, called police. The woman was caught with about $50 worth of items; bond was set at $10k and the baby was placed in its father's custody.
