most memorable moment

Well, mine happened in the last 30 minutes of the year...

Yes, it happened on New Year's Eve, right before the ball/peach dropped.

(Besides the fact that Dad told me he may be coming home from the hospital tomorrow...)

So, I was chillin with my best friends here at home (in GA), grubbin out on foods we only have on New Years Eve night, dickin' around the campfire in the woods, roastin' 'mallows, etc. etc.... and I get a phone call around 11:15 PM from Tdub, the guy that I have been "talking" to for a few weeks now. He was coming over to see me for a minute before he went back to the studio to "finish up a tattoo on his 'friend'". Well, he pulls up in the driveway, so I go out to give him hugs, greet him, all that jazz, and he seems a little distant and not as huggy as normal. I ask him if he's ok, and he just smiles at me says "Drey, you know I care about you, and all I want for you is to be happy." And honestly at this time I thought he was about to propose to me, so I'm all nervous and stuff, trying to think of the best way to turn him down, but then he's like "I want you to meet my 'friend", and about that time my ex boyfriend from last year steps out of the car. Now mind you, this guy was my first real relationship, my first love, and if it wasn't for him getting kicked out of his house back then we'd still be together now. So I'm stunned, can't move, expressionless, mouth dropped, you know, that kinda thing, and all he could say was "Oh my god, you're even more gorgeous than I remember." He pretty much tackles me, we hug for at least 5 minutes, not saying a word, I think I shed a few tears somewhere in there, then I grab Tdub and give him big hugs, thank him.

You can kinda figure where the rest of this goes.

It was the best night between June 17th of last year and last night. Woot. I haven't been this happy in forever!
