Morgan Freeman to Marry His Step Granddaughter...

A few weeks ago, a disturbing story broke that Morgan Freeman was maintaining a 10-year relationship with his step-granddaughter with whom he had a questionable sexual encounter when she was young. Yes, they are not related through blood, but Freeman is 72 and E'Dena Hines is now 27, which means she would have been 17 when they first... um... got together. Once Freeman's wife found out about their secret affair she filed for divorce, and now the Enquirer is claiming that once proceedings go through, he and Hines are set to wed.

"Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her," says a family insider. Another source says, "Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E'Dena's goal."

Consider us creeped out. Morgan Freeman is giving Woody Allen a run for his money!

It doesn't phase me. A friend saids he'd no longer watch any MF movies. Honestly how many more movies do you think he has in him? It's strange but legal *shrugs* Back in the early 20th century and back people married their cousins.

I like Morgan Freeman, this story on the face of it I don't like but I would have to have more sources to know the true story. At age 71 and her in her twenties, them not related by blood I have no problem, if anything started physicially when she was 17 yeah that would be sleazy......., but as I say, need more credible info.

Creepy to me too, can you imagine how creeped out his poor wife feels. Especially since they probably knew her and baby sat her since she was a baby or atleast a young child :/

It is now common knowledge that Morgan Freeman, and his wife Myrna, have split after 25 years of marriage. It is also well known that Morgan and Myrna had raised his step-granddaughter (from his first marriage) E'Dena Hines.
Well, recent reports that Freeman, 72, had a decade-long affair with E'Dena Hines, 27, have surfaced amid Freeman's divorce reports - and moreover, the actor is said to be planning to marry her. Woody Allen can relate, but few others can.
The National Enquirer said he and E'Dena Hines "are planning to wed after Morgan's contentious divorce battle is over," that "Morgan has let E'Dena believe he wants to marry her," and "becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E'Dena's goal."

E'Dena Hines will not become Mrs. Morgan Freeman.​

Morgan Freeman's camp had kept quiet, assumingly finding the story so absurd it saw no reason to comment. At first, it was hard to argue with that logic.
But, so many people jumped on the story and began printing it as fact - or at least reporting it so many times that some people inevitably assumed it was.
Finally, Freeman's publicist set the record straight, stating in regards to the story: “It's complete garbage. The allegations are 100 percent made up."
Well, that clears that up. And it's probably for the best.
