Tomorrow I am going to Montréal avec three friends. It's a long drive, but oh well. The weather is looking to be weirdly cool, so we're bringing coats.
This is sort of a spur of the moment thing, but I don't really have a job (except that book for September, but it can wait three days), so it's not like I have anything to stop me from running off to the good land of the French for a few days. Matt isn't coming with me (since he does have a job), but I am taking his car.
I'm practising my francais. I never took French in grade school, since English is my second language, but I did for a year in high school. I can say things like, "Je vais, tu vas, il va, elle va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont, elles vont!" And "excusez-moi, mais mon cheveux est brun" (though I have no idea where I'd ever use that). Also, "voulez-vous couchez avec moi", but Matt would kill me.
Au revoir, mon amis! I must pack (or I will in a few minutes) and gas up the car! And load the Amelie soundtrack onto my iPod, because obviously, why go to Montréal (Say it moh-ray-all!) if you aren't going to listen to French music on the way?
Ps: I'll have pictures when I get back.
