I think its a bit harsh...and for her sons too...one in particular is taking it harder i think...as far as the guilt goes

idk...My friends mom did that, and my mom said it was fine with her if i were to stay at the house. But looking at it now, i shouldn't have...even though i thought it was cool at the time.

There's a drinking age for a reason...

I would never buy tims daughter alcohol for her and her friends and say it was okay to drink at the house. And I know that he wouldn't be stupid enough to do so either.

in my opinion, she should have known what the consequenses would be...and now she has to pay them.

understandable but 2 years? and now her son dropped everything to get a job so he can buy a house for her when shes out...cause she had to get rid of her apt.

I would never do that for kids but still ugh.

I think she deserves punishment, especially for the fact that she did not have the permission of the other parents for their children to be drinking. She took the liberty of deciding what was right for other people's kids. That is wrong. If I found out another adult gave my children alcohol without my consent, I would press charges against them. I would be infuriated. That being said, I think the length of her jail sentence is too harsh.

My parents give make me drinks quite often, but i can't leave the house unless im riding and not driving, and they never give me more than 3-4 shots. They also never give anything to my friends. That's their parents job
