My favorite comedian was found dead in his hotel room Wednesday morning. This dude was amazing. He was in a league all of his own. I'm bummed....... RIP Mitch. We'll miss ya!

I KNOW!!!! I just heard that today on the radio around 5:00pm. He's one of my favorites also. I'm into different and original styles. I'd have to say it's drug related because i've seen him VERY waisted at the Laugh Stop here in the O.C. He's so simple it's funny.

I personally don't think it was as OD. He has talked in interviews before about being clean for 10 years.... but you never know. It could have came from years of abuse though....... still sucks.

Not sure why this is in the politics forum, but what do I know...politics bores me to tears. LOL

Anyway, Mitch is my favorite comedian...his stuff is GREAT!!! The autopsy lists his cause of death of "multiple drug toxicity" including cocaine and heroine. Not sure when the interview you saw were from, but he was arrested in 2003 for possession of heroin, so it must've been before then.

Mitch will always be my favorite comedian...no one else can deliver his jokes like he did. Funny thing is, and a lot of people don't know this unless they read up on him, he had SEVERE stage fright (which is why he always wore those glasses).

I remember that guy. Obviously I didn't follow his career closely enough to realize that he had passed away, though. He was a funny guy. He seemed like a blues-singer-gone-comic.

He was a great comedian though, I still listen to his skits on my ipod...
