Misheard song lyrics

For years I thought the lyrics were "I have to praise you like a shoe". It was only after singing to the song with a friend that she laughed hysterically and finally told me that it was "like I should".


I also thought the lyrics of I Will Survive went "weren't you the one that tried to hurt me with your bike?"

I thought it said "out" too. And that song is a great example of how overplaying a single song can ruin a band's career.
