actually watching the video now, looks pretty sweet, and it's interesting they're supporting ARM. Go Britain!

This is not Windows 7, just the UI looks like Windows 7

Yup, glad they are using something from Britain, just wondering whether Britain can create its own Operating system one day

yeah I got that, I was thinking more about the speed and peripheral compatibility.

ARM are getting everywhere these days. Started in a pig shed apparently. It's been a long time since Britain did anything decent in the OS field, perhaps the Amstrad was the last, not really sure.

Meh, the bbc computer was decent, though I didn't know that much about programming in those days, still don't, damn oop >.<

Aah the beeb, awesome machine that one. Wrote some BASIC on that but little else. Nifty computer tho.

I liked the zx spectrum, just an awesome machine, terrible keypads though =/ Sinclair, what was he thinking of ?:24:

those rubber keys! terrible for playing Daley Thompson's Decathlon. I still get my speccy games on, thanks to an emulator: worldofspectrum.org

Also I found having the BASIC commands on the keys was really annoying for coding.
