I like light make up or make up done well. It all depends on who and how its on
If a woman has nice skin then why ruin it with make-up

Some women of course don't give a fig what men think - they do it because they want to do it and that's fair enough.

Personally though, I agree with the homo.

I don't wear much make-up, unless I'm getting dressed up to go out, then I like to wear a little more.....like Siph said earlier...who gives a fig, if it makes you happy. xx

I think it depends on how you look naturally. In the summer I rarely wear makeup because once I get even a little sun my skin blooms and I look much nicer.

However, in the winter I look very pale and uneven, so I wear a light foundation, a little blush and mascara, and probably lipgloss because the cold makes my lips chapped.

And if you've got problems with acne or greasy skin, you're going to need more help to look 'naturally pretty' than someone with great, even skin!

So I think men probably do like a natural look, but not everyone starts off on the same level of natural.

Insecurity issues... Doing what someone else wants over how I feel about something is something that comes natural to me. Not one for "stepping it alone" ;)

You might post a pic of yourself without any makeup or lipstick at all. You look like one of those naturally pretty girls.

I don't like a lot of makeup. Gals, such as HK, who need a "little help" in the wintertime are just fine. I don't like a lot of mascara, looks too much like the girl lost a fight, or the stuff caked on like bondo on a rusted out Oldsmobile. I prefer natural.

I quit wearing makeup years ago. It makes my skin feel like it is suffocating. For special occassions, I will wear a little mascara and lipstick (subtle colored not bright). Pinching cheeks worked for Scarlett O'hara ;)

It's all in the application. Very few women are that "natural, glowy, beautiful" without any makeup at all. I believe the threshold between this "natural look" and too much makeup is simply whether one can tell you're wearing any.

I've had people tell me all the time "you don't look like you wear makeup really" and I get super sad, like it means I look ugly (because I do put on all sorts of makeup), when it probably just means I apply it well enough where it isn't noticeable.

Uneven application, unblended shadows, unflattering colors...dead giveaway, and usually what a guy means by too much.

No man wants to hug a woman and find make up all over their collar.

I think make up can be applied tastefully and as Pan mentioned, if you can hardly notice she's wearing any, the more natural the woman looks.

I don't want to wake up next to woman I can hardly recognize after she removes make up.

I don't mind make up but I'm all for the natural beauty thing. If she has that natural beauty, even better.
