Who here listens to Mastodon? If you do, you will be my bestest friend. Personally, I think they are one of the best metal bands out there right now. Their music continues to grow and they really are pushing the limits. So, who here listens to them? If you do, what is your favorite album by them? Have you seen them live? If so, what was your experience like?

So, I got to see them live a couple weeks back. They were playing at a huge music festival here, and I have to say they were pretty fucking awesome. I'd never really listened to anything by them before, but since then i've been checking out some of their stuff.
Yeah, they are very good. Did you by chance see them at the Big Day Out Festival? I saw them in a smaller venue, and although their setlist was good, I wish it had more Blood Mountain than it did. But it was still fantastic. If you need any tips on what to listen to by them, let me know. I am more than happy to help.
