ooer, I hope everyone over there's alright, includin you Peter! tho I'm not sure if you leave near where it's gonna hit or not though.
Wasn't as bad as expected, it didn't even breach the sea wall at Yarmouth which was expected to be the worst hit! We've got a lot better flood defenses than the huge tragedy which happened in the 50s. I'm pretty ok here anyway as I live inland, its the coastal places and London which needed to worry the most.
So no flooding in Plymouth then?
It was never expected down there, its when a huge tide gets blown down the North sea, it was Lincolnshire, East Anglia, the Thames and Kent which were under threat.
