Wasn't as bad as expected, it didn't even breach the sea wall at Yarmouth which was expected to be the worst hit! We've got a lot better flood defenses than the huge tragedy which happened in the 50s. I'm pretty ok here anyway as I live inland, its the coastal places and London which needed to worry the most.
It was never expected down there, its when a huge tide gets blown down the North sea, it was Lincolnshire, East Anglia, the Thames and Kent which were under threat.
