This Saturday, April 25th. Kick off time 5.30pm, live on Setanta Sports. Should get a few on here interested (i'm looking at you Brokenheart)

After going 3 points clear last night United will be keen to continue the good form, and with the possibility of Liverpool going back top with a win at Hull earlier in the day, anything less than a win simply won't do.

History favours the Red Devils in this fixture. Tottenham have never won at Old Trafford, but they are in form, having won 4 of their last 6 games in the league, losing only once, and that form has seen them in with a shot at a Europa League place next season. The teams have met 3 times already this season, United coming out on top in two (2-1 in the FA Cup and on penalties in the Carling Cup final) and the other being a controversial 0-0 draw in December.

Tottenhams main threats include strikers Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko who have scored 16 and 14 this season respectively, Luka Modric and Aaron lennon, who supply the ammunition. And the defence may be a test for United, with Jonathan Woodgate likely to start.

United meanwhile can rely on the attacking talents of Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov (keen to impress against his former club) and Cristiano Ronaldo, who between them have scored 52 goals this season.

A possible plus for Tottenham could be Arsenal, whom United play in the Champions league 4 days later, it may promt Sir Alex Ferguson to rest some of his stars.

If you fancy a punt United are available at 2/5 with Ladbrokes, Tottenham 6/1 with the draw at 11/4.

There's often goals in this fixture, and 3-1 United at 9-1 is a tempter.

spurs were in complete control at 2 - 0 up.....then the ref gave a very dodgy penalty which changed the game...united run out 5 - 2 winners

Howard Webb saw Carrick going over, thats what he's looking at, the directive for referee's now is to look at the contact made between fouler (Gomes) and Foulee (Carrick), the direction of the ball becomes irrelevant. Carrick made contact with the ball as well as Gomes, but the fact is Gomes fouled Carrick. Penalty.

Spurs werent COMPLETELY dominant either, they got two goals on the break. We had chances before the penalty. And the performance afterwards is one of the best you will see, goals flying in left right and centre.

But to be fair, at least Spurs had a go.

the rules state that if the keeper makes contact with the ball first its not a foul.....gomes played the ball first
