Man Survives Pole Through The Head

Ok, sorry this link is from CBBC and is quite simple but I just saw it on there as the missus caught the end of it while waiting for Neighbours to start!

Man gets pole in head - and survives!




How about this for an amazing tale of survival? Manish Rajpurohit ended up with a 4ft-long pole in his head following a bus crash in India in February.
As you can see from the X-ray, the pole went in through the 18-year-old's forehead. It came out through the back of his neck, pinning him to his seat.
Amazingly, the pole missed all the important parts of his brain and, after rescuers freed Manish from the bus wreck, surgeons were able to remove it.


Manish got an infection after his operation, but he's okay now.

That is a very lucky guy that is for sure. Bet he had to buy out the stores in pain meds though.
