Sure is nice to only have temps in the 70's and cool at night. It could stay like this year round for me. Our highest temp is only to be 82 from now till September. Had a few mornings in the low 40's last week. Had to wear a jacket for a couple of days.

I am LOVING it. Last night it was 59 degrees when I drove to work. FANTASTIC.

Meanwhile it's 95 degrees back in Georgia, LOL

The weather this week is going to be hot{90s}..but for the most part it has been a very mild summer with lots of 70 to 80 degree days.

I know what they call me, but what do they call southern transplants up north who don't want to move back south? I'm guessing there aren't many of you LOL

I won't call you crazy until you buy a home and pay those taxes.
I don't know if that's gonna happen any time soon. As long as I'm living by myself, it'll be apartment life for me. If Jaime and I decide to move in together, I would probably move to Florida.

To add to that...I've been looking at apartments closer to work and have pretty much decided I'll continue to commute for a while. My rent varies b/c I pay half the mortgage and utilities...Summer months it's about $430, Winter months it's about $530. Rent around where I work, for a 400 square foot apartment, is $950.

I drive a Toyota Corolla that gets around 35 miles per gallon. I can make it on a tank of gas for my entire 4 day rotation, which means I'm filling up the tank almost twice a week, which costs me maybe $80.

950 bucks for 400 sq foot is to high and the apt to small..I wouldn't do it either

Seriously as cheap as it gets up here. Well, that's not true, there were some spaces in neighboring towns that were cheaper, but not by much. And I have yet to figure out why a STUDIO apartment would have 2 bathrooms. *shrugs*

The only place I can think of that is worse than Boston for rent is NYC.
